Good morning. Once again my eyes opened in time for another sunrise. How nice is that? The sunrise? Nope, just waking up; something that always makes me happy. LOL.
I'm greeted again with perfect weather; 68 degrees and a very calm body of water before me. But today, I'm very aware of noise...sounds. Crows and seagulls. You know their sounds. Each piercing the silence of this great and very quiet campground. Their cacophony (no, I didn't have to look that up) of calls didn't wake me but, like the rooster, they made it known that a new day had arrived. So, with coffee in hand, here I sit enjoying the moments to get my thoughts on paper....or in a blog. My breakfast treat today will be a scrambled egg & cheese with bacon on a scooped out, toasted sesame bagel. That will be it for today until I meet Barb & John who will take me into Camden, ME and then to their summer place where more photos will, no doubt, be taken.

In the silence of this campground, as a sit facing a very tranquil body of water watching two kayakers pass.
I hear the bleating of sheep, at least two. They're probably residents of the campground because I cannot imagine RVer's trucking "pets" like that around. I've yet to walk the campground to see everything. Perhaps I'll see them. I did and lo and behold, because it's "Fiber College Week" here, the instructors/vendors brought their own "source of wool: sheep and Alpacas.
Doubt if it'll be the highlight of my trip, but unusual nevertheless. Even while John and Barbara dined with me last night, it was unusually quiet. The folks camping here are older and without children. School is back in session so camping for families is on hold till breaks and recesses. So, just the 'empty nesters' and retirees are here (with their dogs)

This week features "Fiber College Week." http://www.fibercollege.org/ here at the campground, so I should take some photos of that....
